CLIP is a weekly meet up for anyone with an interest in the more experimental side of music and sound. An opportunity for sonic exploration through collaboration, discussion, sharing ideas, jam sessions, installations, live soundtracks and workshops.
Alongside a weekly meet up CLIP also organise regular performances which showcase ideas and skills developed within the workshops.

Create your own form of music notation using shapes, colours and textures. Traditional scores are ridden with rules, so let’s break them!
4 MAR | Tape Loop Sculptures
Manipulate your own tape loops to make playable sculptures that fill the room.
11 MAR | Circuit Bending
Open up battery powered toys and create your own world of unique sounds by playing the circuits themselves.

Build your own acoustic record player with our simple guide. Chop up old records to make your own cut and paste grooves!

Learn the basics of Logic Pro X, the powerful digital audio workstation (DAW) and learn how to produce and mix your own songs.
1 APR | Vegetable Orchestra
From percussive peppers to a chorus of carrots, make some tasty music.
29 APR | Drawing Sound
Musical games, improvisation challenges and automatic drawing. Make artwork based on the sounds of a CLIP jam session.
